Privacy Policy

Overview

This Privacy Policy explains what data the JSONora website processes and why. The core tools are designed to run entirely in your browser, which keeps your JSON private by default.

Local browser processing

Formatting, validating, beautifying and minifying JSON happen locally in your browser using JavaScript. Your JSON input and output are not uploaded to our servers and are not transmitted to us. We do not have access to the content you process with the tool.

Cookies and local storage

We store a small amount of information in your browser's local storage to remember your preferences, such as your color theme (light or dark) and, if applicable, your consent choices. These values stay on your device and are not sent to us.

Analytics

Analytics may be enabled in production to understand anonymous, aggregate usage. If enabled, it loads only after you grant consent and is configured to avoid collecting the JSON you enter. No JSON content is ever sent to analytics providers.

Advertising

Advertising may be enabled in production to support the site. If enabled, ad scripts load only with the appropriate consent and through a compliant integration. The tool itself does not depend on advertising scripts to function, and it continues to work if ads fail to load.

Third-party services

When analytics or advertising are enabled, they may involve Google services (such as Google Analytics or Google AdSense / Ad Manager). Those services have their own privacy policies. For visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland, consent is managed through a certified Consent Management Platform before personalized advertising is shown.

Your rights

Because we do not collect your JSON, there is generally no personal content to access or delete. For any personal data processed through analytics or advertising with your consent, you can withdraw consent at any time using the Privacy Settings link in the footer. To contact us about privacy, email the address published on our contact page once available.
